Overview
Many organisations are switching to virtual or remote working as part of a deliberate strategy to cut costs and focus on customer based activities. With it brings a greater employee responsibility, empowerment and personal development. Simply connecting people via technology does not guarantee that they will be able to communicate, collaborate or co-ordinate their work. Developing agile teams takes not only technical know-how, but the ability to build strong relationships and essential working practices at a distance. Virtual team leaders and members need skills not only in managing information, but in managing relationships, collaborative tools and team protocols. The purpose of this course is to improve the effectiveness of collaboration between virtual team leaders and members.
