RAMM software is the standard for Road Asset Management in New Zealand. This practical hands-on workshop is designed to demonstrate how the system is structured, and how to most effectively use the data available. This course is largely about finding information in RAMM, knowing where to go to get information out of RAMM for use in analysis, presentation of data to others or taking data out in the field. You will also have the benefit of being able to tap into CJN Technologies’ extensive experience of developing and using RAMM.
Topics include:
- overview of the RAMM system - viewing, selecting and summarising data - using filters to find data - exporting data to other applications (Excel, etc) - storing pictures and other data types - how to use RAMM Mapping - getting data into RAMM - using the reporting tools
On completion of this course participants will have the knowledge to:
- understand the various components in RAMM - view and extract sub-sets of data from the database - know where to go to get things done
Who Should Attend:
This course will be of benefit to: - anyone who is new to RAMM - anyone who has been using RAMM for sometime but not updated their skills within the last 2-3 years - anyone who feels they are not getting enough out of those features in RAMM for finding, viewing, reporting, and exporting RAMM data If you have already been on this course and want to get more out of RAMM or you feel that most of these topics are familiar ground then you may wish to consider the "Getting more out of RAMM" course. It complements this course but goes deeper into many of the functional areas in RAMM such as RAMM Network Manager, RAMM SQL, Forward Work Programming and Assessment.
Cost:
$450.00 per person + GST (Minimum numbers apply before a course is confirmed) Each attendee will receive their own copy of the 'Using RAMM' manual to take away with them.
