Written reports are an effective method of organising information and data into a form which makes them comprehensible and accessible. It is a method by which management is able to receive regular information, monitor progress and co-ordinate activities. Technical reports become the basis for discussion, decision making, planning and possible future policy. Every report is a statement of a person?s professional competence. This training programme focuses on the formal report required by a service delivery organisation and covers both the critical study and the writing of sections of reports.
