20461 Demonstrate knowledge of bitumen gangbar sprayers and operations
1496 (expiring) Demonstrate knowledge of bitumen materials, their modification and handling on chipsealing works
1497 (expiring) Operate sprayer plant and equipment used to apply bitumen on road surfaces
1498 (expiring) Spray bitumen on road surfaces

Presenter Information:
Barry Gundersen has over 38 years engineering and management experience in the road surfacing industry on both sides of the Tasman. He was National Technical Manager for Bitumix (NZ) for 15 years before setting up his own consultancy in 1995, specialising in road surfacings. Barry has been a visiting lecturer at Auckland University for 12 years and also runs training courses for the Australian Asphalt Pavement Association
Pre-requisite for attendance:
Participants must have completed the Bitumen Safety course prior to attending this course. Participants must have completed the Bitumen Tanker and Plant Operator course prior to attending this course.
