COACH TOUR
Victoria Park Tunnel and JTOC
Sunday 3rd November, 1pm - approx. 5pm
The Auckland Motorway Aliance and Victoria Park Alliance will be hosting a visit to the Victoria Park Tunnel where delegates will be taken deep into support tunnels viewing the extensive Fire-Life-Safety and Mechanical/Electrical systems.
Both Construction and Maintenance representatives will be on site offering insights and to answer questions.
Delegates will then travel over the Harbour bridge to the Auckland Joint Transport Operations Centre (JTOC) who will host a tour of the centre. Delegates will be shown how JTOC operates the Victoria Park Tunnel as well as the broader Auckland road network from this high technology centre.
NB: The Victoria Park Tunnel is a live operational area requiring full PPE. Delegates will be required to wear safety shoes or boots, long pants and long sleeves. Hard hats and safety eyewear will be provided to delegates.
