KEYNOTE SPEAKERS CRAIG BENSON AND KELIE PITTAWAY

Keynote Address, Wednesday 29th August, 9.25am

The rise and fall of civilizations through history correlate strongly with preservation and loss of soil resources. Similarly, in modern times the dominance of consumptive cultures bodes poorly for soil loss. This presentation will explore Craig Benson’s research with agroforestry systems while living among the Ngie Tribe of the Northwest highlands of Cameroon, West Africa.
