Overview of Temporary Traffic Management training

Overview

There are now major changes with how the Temporary Traffic Management (TTM) training is delivered.

Below is a very broad idea of the new training requirements. Full information can be found on the Waka Kotahi COPTTM website clicking here.

All warrants excluding the TTM Worker and Mobile Driver will hold Waka Kotahi ID Warrants as well as optional unit standards which can be recorded onto NZQA.

All warrants require theory assessment this will make you “Non-Practising” (NP) and a practical assessment “Practising”. Practising means you will be able to carry out your duties on the network, the NP is more suited to people not doing the physical work ie: engineers, RCA staff.
