Understanding the Tender Process - for Contractors


The tendering process is an essential start to winning contracts. All too often Contractors don’t fully understand the tendering process as defined in NZS3910. For Contractors to provide good tenders, principals must provide meaningful contract documentation. However, they also want an assurance that contractors fully understand their business, its needs and the specific job requirements.

Winning contracts is essential to the continuing viability of any contractor.  It is no longer just about the price and accurate calculations. Winning contracts means understanding the issues and requirements at the procurement stage plus the knowledge to present the tender so it will be meaningful and well received. 

The course provides a brief overview of the issues for both parties, with an emphasis on the Contractors requirements.
